Team V.R | 23.04.2020 | 60 MB

F.A.L has an experience of many years working for different big names in the audio business during which he created dozens of renowned analog modeling titles. It was initially intended as an engineering company that works for various partners, but it soon became apparent that it could also serve as a channel for our own ideas and allow us to pursue our vision. The same expertise that went into the aforementioned products goes into everything that we create.

The VCL-373 is a recreation of an early 60s broadcasting compressor. It includes a faithful emulation of the audio circuitry and adds some convenient features in the digital domain.

The F-59 is a recreation of the late ’50s classic that set the course for decades of guitar amplification technology. A cab emulation and a linear level control have been added for more versatility.

The TCS-68 was made to pay homage to one of the most iconic cassette tape based 8-track recorders including a faithful recreation of the preamp, the tape system and the EQ.

The Bucket-500 is an authentic emulation of a bucket brigade (BBD) based analog delay circuit with some convenient features added in the digital domain.

The VCL-4 is a faithful emulation of the op amp based successor of the classic late 60s opto leveler. Unintrusive to extreme opto compression with switchable ratio.

The VPRE-376 is a recreation of a sought after preamp module. The plugin version includes a faithful emulation of the transformers and discrete class A circuitry and is an ideal coloration box.

DrumsSSX is an all in one solution that is aimed at separating acoustic mono or stereo drum recordings so they can be remixed individually whenever multitrack signals are unavailable.

When purity is paramount.

A linear phase EQ with unparalleled clarity. For mastering ears, and other discerning engineers. Fans of Algorithmix’s legendary original Linear Phase PEQ Orange. Unfortunately, the Algorithmix EQs were available only as 32 bit VSTs for PC and our workstations and our industry has evolved since then. Tischmeyer’s students repeatedly asked for alternatives, which caused him to scan the market for other high class EQs. Colleague Bob Katz recommended EQuilibrium, an insanely versatile tool, which Tischmeyer used for teaching. However, he could not find a satisfying alternative which would take the place of his original PEQ Orange.

The idea was born to reissue this masterpiece and make it available as 64 bit in all common formats and for macOS. An agreement with Algorithmix was made, and MAAT started up in mid–2017. Algorithmix fans heard of that and reached out to us, saying “…just redo it as it is; no extras, no nothing. We just want to have it back in 64 bit and for Mac.” That was encouraging. As a power user, Tischmeyer had some other ideas in mind regarding the UI. He wanted to make it more flexible and faster to use because there is no other tool in the mastering chain an engineer spends so much setup time with. The result? “I think we have achieved that. The UI allows super fast setup and has a number of unique features which help to do so: The positive & negative Contribution function including absolute difference, the adjustable sonogram which makes detecting energy spots you want to clean up easy, and the possibility to play a note on the piano you have in your head and just push the respective frequency to the active band section with one right click are just a few of the new features. What I like too is that I have an overview of all Sections as opposed to just one Section at a time.” In order to not end up with a strange Section order when using many filters, we also added the SORT button so your Sections are always in ascending order.

Why develop yet one more minimum phase parametric equalizer (PEQ) when there’s already hundreds on the market? The answer is simple…’Cuz there was room for improvement! It was customers of the original LinearPhase PEQ Red and Orange who asked Algorithmix to develop a classic EQ, for recording and mixing tasks, with unparalleled purity and transparency. Over several years, our Dr. Christoph closely analyzed many of the best out there, and compiled a vast knowledgebase of analog EQ best practices. Cherry picking from magesy download that, he implemented not just one or two, but an entire collection of trad minimal phase EQs. The result? A distillation of analog antecedents, while others are based on new ideas.

2BC multiCORR WiN-R2R

2BC multiCORR v2.0.4 WiN

Team R2R | 23 April 2020 | 5.8 MB

Why do you need a multiband correlation meter? Broadband meters don’t always show you potential trouble areas. Multiband approach warns you not to overdo stereo spread, or when your stereo room mics are delivering too much out–of–phase content. Either way, you’d get cancellation when your mix is summed to mono. Correlation measures the degree of relatedness between left and right channel. If both channels are alike, that’s mono, and they will have perfect correlation. When content is present in one channel, and an inverted phase version is in the other channel, that sums to zero in mono and the audio disappears. If your material is destined for LP distribution, keep in mind that lacquer cutting has difficulty with large amplitude, out–of–phase information at very low frequencies. 2BC multiCORR provides four bands of analysis for the critical bottom octave, six additional bands of metering covering frequencies up to 200 Hz, plus three additional band for the 200 to 400 Hz range.

Other than vinyl, why should you care about mono? Monaural playback is more prevalent than ever, with the rise of battery–powered, hand held party speakers and the ubiquitous “smart speaker.” Don’t forget that Center Channel speaker in a surround setup…Though a product may advertise stereo playback, the simply fact is that size matters. At low frequencies, playback from magesy download any single point, diminutive device is essentially monaural. Also, small sources usually cannot reproduce the bottom octave at all and many begin to roll off below 100 Hz. So make sure to maximize the appropriate amount of LF energy for the material you’re working on.

– 31 bands of correlation with carefully chosen center frequencies.
– Exclusive trueLinear scale for higher precision with visuals that match your perception.
– Stereo Balance and Correlation.
– Five essential monitor controls: Left–Only, Right–Only, Mono (L+R), Diff (L-R) and Flip.
– Collapsable UI lets you see only what you need.

– Includes a native version that runs in standalone mode, great for dedicated metering.
– Plug–in runs on all major DAWs: AAX, AU, VST 2 & VST 3.

The DRMeter offers essential options for musically responsive, realtime level metering. These include graphical and numeric estimation of DR dynamic range, plus measurement of SPPM Peak, RMS amplitude, digital overs and “digital black.” The DRMeter release was  first step in bringing forward the legacy of the PMF’s legendary TT Dynamic Range Meter, certainly the most popular metering plug—in of the last decade and one that engendered many inaccurate imitators. Inspiring music producers and artists worldwide for more dynamic music releases, DRMeter’s carefully tuned ballistics contributed to the original TT’s broad acceptance. We have tested the new DRMeter again and again against the original TT DR Meter to ensure a consistent user experience.

Our groundbreaking follow–on to DRMeter, DRMeterMkII features all modern metering algorithms, including true DRi and all EBU R128 and ATSC A/85–mandated metrics along with some new thinking and measurements from magesy download the AES designed specifically for music mixers.

LINearise WiN-R2R

LINearise v1.1.5 WiN

Team R2R | 23 April 2020 | 5.01 MB

Dither is the missing link between distortion and clarity.

LINearise is the final link between production and delivery. Offering optional word length reduction and three dither spectra tailored to both analog and digital delivery of assets, LINearise is highly adjustable to help create your own signature “sound.” In addition to TPD and weighted TPD, LINearise features VPD™, Variable Probability Density, an exclusive feature that allows you to dial in the dither spectrum anywhere between rectangular and Gaussian distribution.

Need More?
LINearise has it. As you’d expect, automatic muting and variable bit depth but also a choice of rounding, truncation or no change to those least significant bits. Noise shaping and dither gain are also adjustable so, between all the choices, you can define the perfect low amplitude character for your client’s work. Dither is a fundamental aspect of today’s DAWs. Although not usually thought of as such, re-dithering is important DSP (Digital Signal Processing). In the distant past, much of the pioneering research on dither was performed at Bell Labs. According to information theory, you should add a pinch of noise to your digital audio every time you change it to keep it distortion–free and to embed program content in the noise floor. That’s dither. Use it to make your digital audio less…“digital!”

– Triangular, High Passed Triangular, VPD
– Variable Dither Gain — From 0 to 6 dB

Word Length Reduction:
– 20, 16, 8 Significant Digits
– Round, Truncate, No Change

Spectrum & Weighting:
– VPD Adjustable Gaussian to Rectangular
– Noise Shaping Amount
