2018 hip hop music has embraced it’s emotional side and brought with it an array of new styles and sounds. ‘Moody Hip Hop’ is bursting with dark basslines, powerful drum loops, emotive keys, subtle pads and dynamic FX that will envelop your audience and leave them wanting more. Found sounds are a key part in this sample collection, adding unique timbres and tones that are otherwise hard to reproduce. The majority of loops have also been played in live for that added human element. A cassette tape recorder, as well as, tape and vinyl emulating plugins were used, to give some samples warmth and can really make the difference when trying to bring the listener into the world you are creating.
